Member Support Specialist (Phone, Chat, Email)

The Member Support Specialist (Phone, Chat, Email) role is onsite in Salt Lake City, UT, with a 9-week onsite training and nesting period at the Lehi office; a hybrid or work-from-home rotation may be available based on performance. Pay is $22 per hour. SmithRx works to improve pharmacy benefit management through technology, cost-saving tools, and member service. This role supports member satisfaction and access to care by responding to member, physician, and pharmacy inquiries. The specialist resolves and documents issues, researches and routes requests as needed, explains pharmacy benefits, and handles sensitive information in accordance with privacy requirements.

What you'll do

• Answer inbound and outbound calls
• follow up on, resolve, and document member issues
• route inquiries for further investigation and conduct routine research
• educate members about pharmacy benefits
• work toward one-call resolution
• protect sensitive personal and health information.
