Recovery Mentor

Job overview

The Recovery Mentor role is onsite in Pittsburgh, PA, with services delivered in the community; compensation is $25–$35 per hour. POWER provides trauma-informed treatment and recovery support for women with substance use and co-occurring disorders. The Mentor uses lived recovery experience to build supportive relationships, help clients develop recovery skills and plans, and connect them with community resources and care providers.

What you'll do

• Provide ongoing recovery support to approximately 20–30 individuals
• conduct outreach and engagement
• complete needs assessments and Recovery Plans
• monitor progress
• teach recovery and life skills
• connect clients with community resources and self-help groups
• coordinate with providers and internal teams
• maintain timely records.
