The Sports and Fitness Specialist, Colangelo Branch role is onsite in Phoenix, AZ. Pay is $15.15 per hour. Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley provides youth programming and club experiences guided by its mission, vision, and values. The specialist supervises Club members and develops and facilitates sports and fitness activities that encourage physical activity, athletic skills, and positive sportsmanship. The role maintains a safe program area and supports youth development through structured activities and positive guidance.

What you'll do

• Develop, organize, and facilitate curriculum-based programs
• run activities in the assigned area
• motivate youth to participate in physical activity and develop athletic skills and sportsmanship
• plan and coordinate sports events and tournaments
• administer outcome measurement tools
• maintain safe, clean, and organized program areas and equipment
• use active supervision and positive guidance
• support an inclusive environment. Transporting members may be included if the employee is 21 or older
• assisting with the food program may be included.
