Manufacturing Level 2 Setup CNC Machinist, Second Shift

The Manufacturing Level 2 Setup CNC Machinist role is onsite in Plover, WI, Monday–Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Compensation is $25 per hour. The role supports production of high-precision components for aerospace, medical, and recreational industries. The machinist sets up jobs and proves out processes to produce quality machined parts efficiently. By interpreting programs and technical specifications, troubleshooting processes, and verifying finished parts, the role supports accurate production to demanding tolerances.

What you'll do

• Read intermediate G-code
• load programs, tool offsets, and tool-setter posts from the DNC library
• interpret dimensions and tolerances using mathematics, blueprints, and GD&T
• measure and test parts using precision instruments, including CMM
• troubleshoot machine, process, and programming issues
• set machine controls and regulate cutting depth, speed, feed, and coolant flow.

Why this role

Five or more years of CNC machining experience and production setup experience required. Swiss-style Citizen lathes and Mori Seiki NL/NZ machines or similar equipment are highly preferred.
