MEM Instructor

What you'll do

• Answer student questions using subject-matter knowledge
• identify student weaknesses and plan support strategies
• facilitate simulations through radio transmissions, phone calls, and verbal instruction
• manage instructor boards for emergency simulations
• report material or equipment deficiencies
• act as a role player when assigned
• complete end-of-course paperwork and class folders
• maintain and store course materials and simulator equipment
• attend assigned training
• communicate standards of practice
• encourage student participation
• follow safety procedures. Instructors may be assigned maintenance and support functions for accrediting bodies.
