Middleware Engineer

Job overview

What you'll do

• Engineer middleware using technologies such as IBM WebSphere, IBM or Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, Red Hat JBoss, and Oracle WebLogic. Integrate middleware with enterprise applications, security, monitoring, identity platforms, databases, messaging systems, and cloud services. Design proofs of concept, pilots, and automation solutions
• use Ansible for installation, configuration, patching, deployment, and operational workflows, and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, particularly in AWS. Troubleshoot across middleware, infrastructure, networking, and application layers
• operate middleware on VMs, bare metal, and containers
• and partner with architects, application teams, and platform engineering organizations.
