The Professional Registered Nurse Tutor, Health Sciences role is a part-time, onsite position in Paterson, NJ, supporting students at Passaic and Sussex campuses. The tutor helps nursing students strengthen subject knowledge, study and test-taking skills, critical thinking, and clinical reasoning. Individual and group tutoring, workshops, remediation, and communication with faculty help students apply nursing theory and prepare for academic assessments and the NCLEX-RN.

• Provide individual and group tutoring across nursing content

• conduct NCLEX-RN, test-taking, and medication-calculation workshops
• track participation and performance
• document tutoring interactions
• communicate student progress to faculty and nursing leadership.
