What you'll do
- Fit and apply casts, splints, braces, crutches, and other orthopedic appliances
- assist with wound care, aspirations, minor procedures, fracture reductions, dressing changes, and removal of sutures, casts, and splints
- educate patients on device use and care
- maintain clean, stocked cast and supply areas
- support clinic information systems and data collection
- and follow clinical, safety, quality, and emergency-response procedures.

Why this role
Schedule is Monday–Friday, with nine-hour shifts between 6:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., including a one-hour unpaid meal break, and a maximum of 40 hours per week. On-call rotation is one Monday–Sunday week no more than once every four weeks; telephone response is required within 10 minutes, with specified onsite arrival times if called. Current orthopedic technician certification and healthcare-provider BLS are required.
