What you'll do
- Troubleshoot network outages and Layer 1–3 issues
- install and upgrade routers, switches, COMSEC/TACLANES, intrusion prevention systems, wireless controllers, and WAN accelerators
- configure and reconfigure devices
- document incidents and corrective actions
- and follow current policies and procedures. Requires a minimum DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and CompTIA Security+ CE
- CCNA is preferred or the candidate must be willing to obtain it.
