What you'll do

• Verify imaging orders and clarify discrepancies
• identify and prepare patients and review clinical history
• perform MRI scans and assist physicians or physician assistants during invasive procedures
• prepare and administer IV contrast according to protocols
• evaluate image quality and process additional images as instructed
• provide basic patient care and report condition changes
• follow MRI, radiation, infection-control, and safety requirements
• document procedures and maintain the work area.
