The Sales Clerk Leader role is onsite in Buzzards Bay, MA, at the Cape Cod Exchange. The schedule is full-time, 30–40 hours per week. Pay is $20.00 per hour. The Coast Guard Exchange serves military members and their families. The role supports sales department operations by assisting customers, maintaining merchandise and stock, and handling register and cash-control duties. It may also support employee training and store operations when management is absent.

What you'll do

• Welcome customers, maintain product knowledge, and assist with merchandise selection
• respond promptly to customer concerns
• support sales department operations
• order, receive, price, and monitor merchandise as needed
• assist with price changes, markdowns, promotional sets, and signage with store management
• support special-order requests and merchandise issues
• operate a cash register and handle receipts and change funds
• compare register tapes with daily activity reports and investigate discrepancies
• maintain cash overage and shortage records
• serve as key carrier and open or close the store as required
• follow loss-prevention and safety procedures.
