The Combat System Maintenance Coordinator role is onsite at Newport News Shipyard in Hoopes Landing, VA, with compensation of $90,000–$130,000 per year. Engineering Services Network provides engineering and technical support, program management, testing and evaluation, operations support, and information technology for military and government customers. The coordinator supports shipyard execution and advanced planning for combat system design, equipment, and modernization. The role monitors production, coordinates work among installation teams and shipbuilding partners, reviews technical and schedule documentation, and helps plan equipment removal, repair, installation, and testing.

What you'll do

• Provide onsite support to the Ship Design Manager for PMS312D
• oversee shipyard execution and advanced planning for combat system design, equipment design, and modernization
• monitor production through daily Island Mast and Tower and Combat Systems tours
• review inspection reports, design information memos, and liaison action requests for production impact and cost analysis
• coordinate production work among installation teams and Newport News Shipbuilding
• review installation schedules, work packages, and technical records
• plan removal, repair, installation, and testing of combat, C4I, and support equipment
• participate in waterfront meetings and report construction issues.
