The Law Clerk role is onsite in East Lansing, MI, with a schedule subject to availability. Pay is $20–$22.50 per hour. Abood Law Firm’s legal team provides the setting for this position. The clerk supports attorneys by researching legal issues, preparing and organizing case materials, drafting and reviewing documents, and assisting with client-related and administrative tasks. The role is intended for a current student or recent graduate of an ABA-accredited law school seeking hands-on legal experience.

What you'll do

• Conduct legal research and assist attorneys with case preparation
• draft, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence
• assist with discovery, document review, and case organization
• prepare materials for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
• review and summarize statutes, regulations, and case law
• assist with client-related and administrative tasks
• maintain organized case files and confidentiality.
