What you'll do

• Receive new claims
• determine coverage and compensability
• maintain claim notes and electronic records
• interview claimants, insureds, medical professionals, and witnesses
• set reserves
• calculate lost-time wages and administer disability payments
• report required data to state entities
• arrange independent medical examinations as needed
• communicate with claimants, clients, and providers
• review medical bills and attorney bills within authority
• collaborate on return-to-work efforts and litigated claims
• attend settlement conferences, mediations, and hearings
• identify subrogation opportunities
• lead client claim reviews as requested.
