The Lathe Machinist, CNC Live Tooling role is onsite in Mount Vernon, WA, with compensation of $22–$45 per hour. Janicki Industries manufactures complex projects for aerospace, defense, and space companies. This role sets up, operates, and maintains CNC and manual lathes to produce precision components. It supports production by interpreting technical drawings, working to exacting tolerances, and assisting other production cells as needed.

What you'll do

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual lathes and mills
• interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and work orders
• use precision measuring instruments
• edit CNC programs on the shop floor
• maintain a clean, safe work area
• follow applicable AS9100 and Nadcap practices
• support other production cells as required.

Why this role

Requires one year of machining experience and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. High school diploma or GED required; trade or college education preferred. Weekend day shift differential is $3 per hour; swing shift differential is $2 per hour.
