What you'll do

• Assess patient understanding of the plan of care and support education during the hospital stay
• administer narcotics and other medications according to established protocols and the five rights of medication administration
• communicate relevant patient information to physicians, nurses, and ancillary departments
• document concerns, findings, and actions and implement appropriate care plans
• monitor patient condition, physical findings, vital signs, and coping skills.
