The 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic role is onsite in Mocksville, NC, working 10 p.m.–6 a.m. after training on the 1st shift from 6 a.m.–2 p.m. Compensation is not specified. The role supports SBA Home North Carolina’s automated furniture manufacturing facility. The mechanic maintains and repairs plant machinery and facility systems to support safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production. The work includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and support for equipment installation and commissioning.

What you'll do

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems, automated equipment, machinery, and facility electrical components
• diagnose electrical, control, and automation issues
• service wiring, motors, drives, sensors, PLCs, and control panels
• interpret schematics and technical manuals
• maintain records
• support equipment installation, startup, and commissioning
• follow safety, quality, code, and environmental requirements.
