Maintenance Technician

Job overview

Compensation is $24–$35 per hour. The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Rochester, NY. The position supports production equipment and facility systems at Magnetic Technologies Corporation. The technician performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations to keep equipment safe and reliable, reduce production downtime, and support continuous improvement. The work includes advanced manufacturing machinery and general facility systems.

What you'll do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines, press brakes, Wire EDM equipment, and other machinery
• perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance
• support preventive and predictive maintenance
• rebuild, align, calibrate, and test components
• interpret technical drawings and schematics
• respond to emergency repairs
• coordinate specialized vendor service
• maintain facility systems and document work orders.
