The IT Service Desk Technician is an onsite role based in Ann Arbor, MI, with no specified salary. This position supports OHM Advisors in providing technical support and maintaining computer systems. The role exists to ensure continuity of computer system services by providing technical expertise and assistance. The technician installs software, modifies/repairs hardware, and resolves technical problems for users.

What you'll do

• Field incoming service desk requests from users via ticketing system, email, telephone, and in-person in a timely, courteous manner.
• Troubleshoot, install, and upgrade end-user software and hardware.
• Provide one-on-one end-user training on relevant topics and systems on an as-needed basis.
• Maintain and troubleshoot file sharing systems for use with external users and organizations.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding within the scope of assigned duties.
• Image, configure, and set up desktop and laptop computers and associated peripherals at employee workstations.
• Coordinate shipping and reclamation of computer hardware to and from remote offices.
• Maintain proper documentation and storage of deployed and available hardware assets.
