The Registered Nurse (RN), Emergency Room (Adult ER), Day Shift role is onsite in Rochester, NY, for a 13-week assignment. Pay is $2,729–$2,829 per week. The role supports emergency care for adult and geriatric patients with acute conditions. The nurse provides timely emergency assessment and treatment, helping stabilize patients and manage conditions in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The assignment includes four 12-hour shifts, either 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 11:00 AM–11:00 PM, with every other weekend and every other holiday availability if needed.

What you'll do

• Provide emergency nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
• perform triage and comprehensive nursing assessments
• provide cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, blood product administration, and ventilator management as required
• collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to stabilize patients
• follow infection-control and isolation protocols
• use specialized equipment
• float to units within competency and skill set as required.

Why this role

Requires an active New York State single-state RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification. Adult emergency department experience and EPIC experience are required. First-time travelers are accepted; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted under the radius rule. No benefits are offered for the 13-week assignment.
