Materials Associate

Job overview

The Materials Associate works full-time onsite at the facility in Costa Mesa, CA. Pay is $24 per hour. The role supports production and distribution operations for a defense technology company through Sigma Design. The position maintains accurate physical and system inventory and supports material movement, receiving, shipping, and warehouse operations so production teams can access and track materials reliably.

What you'll do

• Perform cycle counts and physical inventories
• reconcile physical inventory with ERP/WMS records and resolve discrepancies
• document receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments
• identify, label, locate, and track materials
• coordinate material transfers and expedite movement
• receive, inspect, and store incoming materials
• operate material-handling equipment
• maintain safe and organized storage areas
• communicate shortages and inventory concerns
• travel between company locations as needed.
