What you'll do

• Review and verify prescriptions for appropriateness, accuracy, and legality before dispensing
• oversee medication inventory, stocking, labeling, and expiration monitoring
• prepare medications and maintain patient medication profiles
• counsel patients on medication information
• ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, HIPAA, and facility policies
• direct pharmacy technicians’ daily work
• maintain an organized pharmacy environment and efficient workflow.
