Billing Specialist — Part-Time

What you'll do

• Prepare and submit clean claims
• verify payer eligibility and maintain benefit summaries
• coordinate with the IS Department on service codes, edits, fees, and required documents
• post claim and contract payments
• assist with contract billing
• manage account status and balances
• correct and resubmit claims
• follow delinquent accounts
• assist clients with payment plans
• review and maintain Sliding Fee Discount Program records
• assist with accounts-receivable aging
• update billing products and forms in EHR systems.
