What you'll do

• Test and troubleshoot shipboard electrical systems
• verify circuits and power and lighting systems
• use electrical diagnostic equipment
• test 480V and 4160V systems
• inspect motor controls, transformers, power panels, switchboards, and PLC-based controls
• support testing of radar, sonar, communications, propulsion, and navigation systems
• interpret marine drawings and schematics
• and follow safety procedures.
