Production Control Planner/Scheduler III, onsite, in Huntsville, AL. The pay range is $65,650.00 - $118,675.00 per year. This role manages and leads production control operations at the Electronics Facility, providing leadership and expertise in production control, scheduling, and manufacturing orders to achieve complex program requirements.

What you'll do

• Lead production planning activities across multiple projects, balancing capacity, materials, and schedule requirements.
• Monitor and control work order execution, proactively resolving shortages, engineering changes, and priority conflicts.
• Interpret, prioritize, and execute MRP action messages to adjust procurement, rescheduling, and work order release decisions.
• Develop and maintain production schedules, Line of Balance (LOB) charts, and milestone tracking.
• Provide production control expertise in cross-functional meetings with Program Management, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Ensure ERP system accuracy (Deltek Costpoint preferred) for all assigned programs, including work order, WIP, and inventory management.
• Generate reports, dashboards, and status updates for leadership and program stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide Production Control Planner I/II team members, providing training and knowledge sharing.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for planning processes, KPIs, and reporting tools.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, AS9100 standards, and government regulations.

Bachelor's Degree

Experience

Bachelor’s degree with 4-8 years of prior relevant work experience or a Masters degree with 2-6 years of prior relevant work experience. Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or warehousing with degree. Six years without degree.
