The role supports Rampart’s work on secure digital communications and RF technology at the intersection of cryptography, information security, and digital signal processing. The engineer architects, builds, and optimizes low-latency, reliable C++ applications and interfaces for core product platforms. The role advances production systems by translating algorithms into software, improving performance and engineering infrastructure, and mentoring other engineers.

What you'll do

• Design high-performance C++ applications and interfaces optimized for ARM and x86
• profile, debug, and improve C++ implementations for efficiency and low latency
• partner with DSP, FPGA, hardware, and product teams to bring algorithms into real-time production software
• design shared frameworks, developer tools, and CI/CD architecture
• mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
