Construction Estimator

Job overview

The Construction Estimator role is primarily office-based in Indian Trail, NC, with occasional site visits; compensation is not specified. Collaboration with project teams helps identify costs, risks, and design changes before and during project delivery.

What you'll do

• Review architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and scopes
• perform quantity take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment
• use estimating software and Excel to prepare cost estimates and bid proposals
• analyze supplier and subcontractor quotes
• coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• develop cost breakdowns and value-engineering recommendations when appropriate
• support procurement and project kickoff
• update estimates for design changes or field conditions.
