What you'll do

• Prepare foods according to menu rotation, standardized recipes, verbal instructions, and production sheets
• batch cook and prepare accurate portions
• maintain a clean and organized work area
• follow safe food handling and HACCP procedures and complete required logs
• label and date foods and discard expired items
• plan for next-day meals and complete production records
• understand therapeutic diets and altered consistencies
• plate hot foods for patient trays
• communicate with coworkers and assist department operations.
