What you'll do

• Analyze, negotiate, and approve outside counsel bill rates
• evaluate and approve firm staffing plans and litigation budgets
• oversee panel counsel
• analyze data and report on law firm performance
• develop metrics and track indicators for litigation strategy
• develop departmental procedures
• monitor law firm trends and maintain an effective approved panel counsel directory.
