Caregiver — Dementia and Long-Term Care

What you'll do

• Assist with toileting, repositioning, hygiene, continence care, mobility, transfers, and overnight activities of daily living
• monitor changes in condition, behavior, comfort, gait, sleep, or alertness
• respond promptly and calmly to resident needs
• help prevent falls and reduce nighttime confusion or agitation
• provide reassurance, redirection, and companionship
• maintain a clean and safe environment
• communicate observations to nursing staff and the day team
• document care
• collaborate with nurses and caregivers.

Why this role

Experience in memory care, assisted living, skilled nursing, home care, healthcare, or dementia care is preferred. CNA/GNA certification is helpful. The role requires the ability to assist with transfers and mobility and to lift 50 pounds.
