The Preconstruction Planner, EV Construction role is onsite in San Francisco, CA, with a base salary range of $110,000–$130,000 per year. The role supports the Preconstruction Design Manager in planning electric vehicle operations facilities. Turner & Townsend delivers project and program services for real estate, infrastructure, energy, and natural resources projects. This role develops early-phase spatial plans and site feasibility concepts that inform cost modeling, constructability reviews, and project decisions. It creates layouts and documentation for facility components, coordinates EV charging layouts, and contributes architectural input to site evaluation and planning.

What you'll do

• Create site layouts, feasibility studies, and early-stage design concepts for new and existing EV operations facilities
• produce drawings and documentation for service areas, support spaces, and site infrastructure
• design and coordinate EV charging layouts for accessibility and electrical requirements
• align designs with operational needs alongside preconstruction and design management teams
• provide architectural input during site evaluation and due diligence.
