Couples Counselor

The Couples Counselor role is onsite in Mount Pleasant, SC. Pay is $45–$60 per hour. The counselor joins Seaside Counseling and Wellness, a mental health and wellness practice serving the local community. The role provides evidence-based couples therapy and individualized treatment planning to help clients address relationship concerns. Through assessment, counseling, progress monitoring, documentation, and collaboration with the clinical team, the counselor contributes to personalized client care.

What you'll do

• Provide couples therapy using approaches such as EFT, Gottman Method, or CBT
• conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• facilitate sessions focused on communication, conflict resolution, and emotional intimacy
• maintain timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA
• collaborate with counselors and wellness professionals
• monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches
• participate in clinical supervision and professional development.
