What you'll do

• Ensure sufficient nursing staffing levels.
• Assist with orientation and ongoing training.
• Develop and communicate shift assignments and monitor staff performance.
• Assist with scheduling as needed.
• Communicate resident conditions and concerns at shift change.
• Ensure staff follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Keep nursing leadership informed of concerns and assist with solutions.
• Review shift reports and follow up on resident care matters.
• Assist with performance evaluations.
• Maintain accurate census and EHR records.
• Investigate resident and family complaints and incidents.
• Provide professional nursing care and participate in care planning and documentation.
