What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC or manual press brake machines
• bend sheet metal and plate to specified dimensions
• read blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
• select tooling based on material and job specifications
• inspect materials and finished parts using measuring instruments
• adjust machines to maintain quality and efficiency
• maintain a clean and safe work area
• document production data
• collaborate to resolve issues
• perform routine maintenance and report mechanical problems.
