Working in support of the Chief Risk Officer, the Head of Risk builds and executes the enterprise risk framework for the exchange and clearing organization. The role establishes governance, models and monitors market and credit exposures, develops operational and liquidity risk programs, and leads regulatory engagement and a risk team.

What you'll do

• Own the exchange and DCO risk framework
• define risk appetite and governance
• establish reporting and chair the Risk Committee
• oversee margin model validation, stress testing, back-testing, counterparty risk, position limits, default fund methodologies, and recovery planning
• build operational and liquidity risk programs and monitoring systems
• maintain financial controls and customer-funds protections
• serve as risk liaison with regulators
• lead filings and examination readiness
• build and lead the risk team
• collaborate across compliance, finance, engineering, product, and commercial teams.
