Internal Audit Intern — Summer 2027

The Internal Audit Intern role is onsite in Chevy Chase, MD, four days per week, Monday–Thursday, from June 22 through August 12, 2027. Compensation is $20–$30 per hour. The intern supports Forbright Bank’s Internal Audit team and reports to the VP of Internal Audit.

What you'll do

• Participate in process walkthroughs and understand risks and controls
• assess control design and operating effectiveness and document findings
• assist with audits, interviews, workpapers, and recommendations
• support development and evaluation of AI-enabled audit tools
• communicate with bank management, external auditors, and the co-sourced audit team.
