Engineering Technician — High Power Test Lab

The Engineering Technician — High Power Test Lab role is onsite in Newburyport, MA. The expected wage is $25–$32 per hour, with eligibility for incentive pay. Maintaining test equipment, evaluating results, and supporting lab procedures helps deliver reliable testing and maintain laboratory certification.

What you'll do

• Conduct high-fault-current, surge, time-current, and cycling tests to applicable standards
• maintain lab power generation and test equipment
• support ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 procedures and certification
• cross-train lab personnel and associates
• maintain knowledge of listing-service standards
• evaluate test data and performance to support design engineers
• recommend safety, power-generation, and data-acquisition upgrades
• assist with team projects
• keep the lab and equipment clean
• work overtime as needed.
