What you'll do

• Interpret, expand, and develop quality assurance standards
• maintain complaint and nonconformance tracking, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions
• document quality activities through reports and audits
• verify work against plans, specifications, and directives
• witness required testing and inspections
• document inspection results
• track quality metrics
• develop procedures for quality deficiencies and risk management
• investigate suspected failures
• provide quality assurance training
• review work packages and customer deliverables for required documentation.

Why this role

An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required. The posting prefers five years of recent quality assurance experience and knowledge of U.S. Navy shipboard engineering procedures; travel may be required.
