Reserve Firefighter

Job overview

The Reserve Firefighter role is onsite in Oskaloosa, IA, with pay of $10–$15 per hour. The reserve firefighter responds to emergencies and supports fire suppression, rescue, prevention, equipment upkeep, and training. What you'll do

• Respond to fires, vehicle accidents, rescues, medical emergencies, and other calls
• perform fire suppression, extrication, salvage, and rescue operations
• assist EMS with patient care as needed
• inspect and maintain apparatus and equipment
• maintain the station and grounds
• participate in training
• support fire prevention, inspections, and public education
• assist victims and families during emergencies.

Why this role
