Laser Operator, Second Shift

The Laser Operator, Second Shift role is onsite in Billings Metropolitan Area, MT, with pay of $23 per hour. Mark Rite Lines Equipment Company designs and manufactures pavement marking and maintenance equipment used to support roadway work. This role operates CNC laser cutting equipment to produce sheet metal parts to engineering specifications and production schedules. It supports safe, efficient production through machine setup, inspections, maintenance, and coordination with production, engineering, and quality teams.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment
• select tooling, fixtures, and settings
• load materials, set offsets, and make simple program edits
• inspect and deburr parts
• organize production flow
• coordinate with other departments
• perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
• troubleshoot within established guidelines
• assist with training
• maintain a clean, safe work area and follow PPE requirements.
