Companion Caregiver

Job overview

The Companion Caregiver works onsite with clients in the Greater Waterbury, Connecticut area. Pay is $17.50–$18.50 per hour. Always Best Care of Greater Bristol offers caregivers flexibility to build schedules around client needs. The caregiver provides non-medical daily support and companionship, helping clients with personal routines, household tasks, transportation, meals, and medication reminders.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, and feeding
• provide companionship and reassurance
• help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• provide transportation to appointments, activities, and shopping
• give medication reminders
• observe universal precautions.

Why this role
