What you'll do

• Learn to use tools, materials, and equipment for coatings and linings on concrete and steel water infrastructure
• perform pressure washing and sandblasting surface preparation
• learn repair methods and select appropriate equipment and materials for secondary containment systems and protective barriers
• perform repairs, cleaning, and modifications under senior personnel’s direction
• follow instructions and learn new coating technologies and application methods
• travel to job sites and stay overnight as required
• work at heights and use required fall-protection and respiratory-protection equipment.
