This role exists to provide direct patient care in a surgical setting at a proficient level. The Registered Nurse (RN) monitors and manages the patient and operative environment before, during, and after surgery to maintain safety, optimize outcomes, and maximize available resources.
What you'll do
- Performs circulating functions before and during surgery.
- Manages sterile fields and monitors patient condition.
- Performs scrub functions and surgical counts.
- Provides nursing care to a complex, high-acuity surgical patient population.
