What you'll do

• Produce and coordinate calculations, specifications, drawings, and consultant inputs
• develop design solutions and ensure code compliance
• interface with regulatory agencies
• coordinate technical efforts among clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities
• oversee construction administration and advise project leadership on budget, schedule, cost, and risk impacts
• support project management plans
• direct and mentor junior team members
• lead small projects and contribute to larger projects
• evaluate scope changes and assist with proposals when needed
• coordinate QA/QC and document reviews. Requires a bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or architectural engineering, 4+ years of structural design experience, and a California Civil Professional Engineer license. Structural PE license is preferred.
