What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machines
• interpret blueprints, part prints, and work orders
• set up tooling, fixtures, clamps, and workpieces
• adjust machine controls
• inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• prove out setups and maintain tolerances
• troubleshoot machining issues and replace worn tooling
• perform basic preventive maintenance
• complete production and inventory documentation
• maintain a clean, safe work area.
