What you'll do

• Oversee unit operations and coordinate care during assigned shifts
• assign and supervise nursing staff
• coordinate patient flow, bed placement, admissions, and discharges
• assess patients, conduct triage, and develop care plans
• administer medications and treatments
• mentor staff
• promote safety, infection prevention, and quality improvement
• collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• respond to emergencies
• educate patients and families
• maintain records and ensure compliance. ED role includes high-acuity and emergency care.
