The Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is an onsite role based in Cypress, TX. Compensation is not specified for this 42-week assignment, which supports the clinical team at a local healthcare facility. The role exists to evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages. The SLP develops and implements individualized treatment plans, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and educates caregivers to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

What you'll do

• Utilize standardized assessments to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evidence-based practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
