The part-time Utah Emergency Disaster Services & Service Extension Field Representative role is primarily field-based, with Salt Lake City, UT as the listed location and regular travel across Utah and southwestern Wyoming. Compensation is $28.75 per hour. The role supports The Salvation Army’s Service Extension presence and field-level emergency preparedness and response work. The position maintains relationships with local volunteers, committees, and partners while supporting Service Extension programs and emergency disaster services. It helps communities sustain local programs, prepare for emergencies, and coordinate support during disaster response and recovery.

What you'll do

• Support Service Extension units across Utah and Lincoln, Uinta, and Sweetwater counties in Wyoming
• visit units and advise local leadership
• support the Provo Service Extension Center
• help develop new units, recruit and recognize volunteers, and complete reports
• coordinate the Christmas Red Kettle Campaign and support grant compliance
• assist communities during disasters
• support emergency preparedness, training, response, and recovery
• submit monthly activity and travel reports.
