What you'll do

• Plan, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct Dietary Department programs
• coordinate services with other departments
• review dietary deficiencies and develop correction plans
• assist with discharge planning
• participate in facility surveys
• interview residents or families about diet history
• help plan menus and individual diet plans
• review plans for compliance with physician orders
• maintain sanitary work and food storage areas
• manage supplies and orders
• develop written dietary plans of care.
