The Tube and Sheet Laser Operator — Weekend Shift role is full-time and onsite in Jefferson, IA. Pay is $25–$29 per hour, depending on experience. The operator supports the weekend team at a manufacturing and fabrication company. The role sets up and operates CNC tube and sheet laser-cutting machines to produce parts that meet customer quality requirements. Accurate setup, inspection, maintenance, and processing help the production team meet specifications and maintain safe, dependable operations.

What you'll do

• Perform laser-cutting operations
• select cutting programs and fixtures
• establish stop locations and adjust laser-beam focal points
• set up cutting operations
• perform prescribed maintenance
• inspect dimensions
• report defective materials or questionable conditions to a supervisor
• operate a forklift
• perform other production tasks as needed.
